That’s the way Polo is the next one or mañana, you just never know who is going to be hot and who’s not. The Skins Tournament in Indio at Eldorado PC, there were a couple of big games to get it started. At 2 pm it was a rematch of last Sunday’s finals minus Fastetta as in Mariano Fassetta. He was replaced by 6-goal Chilean Player Martin Zegger. It did not prove to be a good move at the time. On Sunday they out-slugged Atlant, but Friday was another day. Bolko Kissling’s Atlant teammates shut down the Valiente offense completely for the first two chukkrrs and allowed only one goal in the first chukker.
Atlant, led by the Palomino (Jason Crower) and Papa Walker, blasted in 5 goals in the second. Atlant got a bit better, but not much as Valiente came back with 2 more goals, but it was Atlant lighting up the board in the 6th to move on away to take a win.
In the 4 P.M game it was Smokin’ Joe (Henderson) lighting up Cottrell Farms as they blew by the Cowgirl from Colorado (Jenny Luttrell) and her teammates. Young Julian Mannix is trying to keep pace with Older Bro (Frederick Mannix), who is still undefeated in the 26-goal in Florida. The Hawks walk away with a win. Tomorrow they will be in a showdown with Valiente.
In the Officer’s Cup its Dudley’s CasaBlanca wiping up on young gun Nick Morrision and teammates. They head to the finals against none other than young Julian Mannix, Smokin’ Joe and two more young guns by the names of Jesse Bray and Patrick Uretz (the Hawks). That game is at 10 am. At high noon it is Atlant taking on the Colorado Cowgirl Jenny Luttrell and her Cottrell Farms. In the mix is the JR Officer’s Cup. It will be Valiente led by young Robert Jornayvaz who I think is also undefeated. They will take on the Canadians + Jake Devane in the finals. There is lots of action heading your way and its all tomorrow in Indio, CA as we head to the big Skins finals just a week away.
See ya!
