Twin Palms Polo Club at La Quinta celebrated their 2010 season with a Grand Opening party for friends and club members on Feb. 6th, ’10. The rainy weather didn’t dampen this barn party . . . heaters, a hosted bar, excellent food, an ice sculpture laden with cup cakes, party favors, live music and great company was the perfect recipe for a “GRAND” Opening. Guests gathered in an ambient covered barn area with horses in the backdrop. The party was a dual celebration as it was also Chris Maloney’s birthday. Happy Birthday Chris!! Thank you Laura and Chris Maloney for hosting such a lovely party.
Twin Palms Polo Report
Chris Maloney and Graham Bray, along with the help of their staff, offer 8-10 goal pro-pool style polo with teams changing after every two week long tournament. Games at Twin Palms are held Saturdays (at 12:00 and 2:00) and Sundays (at 11:00 and 1:00) with a BBQ for everyone in between games.
January 16th, 8- to 10- Goal Finals
The TriTech Polo Team won the first tournament of the year. They defeated Ohana/StormCat to take home the silver.
