Twin Palms Polo Club at La Quinta
February 21st Finals
The brother/sister duo of Tritech/Ohana won the Feb. 21st 8-10 Goal Finals at Twin Palms Polo Club at La Quinta. Chris Maloney and his sister Kelly were paired together for the two week long tournament. The combination proved to be well-balanced and unstoppable.
Trinity started out with a 3 goal lead in the first chukker. Tritech/Ohana caught up and took the lead in the second chukker. Tritech/Ohana maintained their lead for the rest of the game defeating Trinity 13-9.
The highest scorer of the game was Danny Juarez with 4 goals. Chris Maloney, Kelly Maloney and Gaston Von Wernich all scored 3 goals each for Tritech/Ohana. On the Trinity team Daniel Rowlands scored 3 goals and Gary Haydon and Mariano Gutierrez each scored 2 goals.
Trinity had a +2 handicap at the start of the game.
