Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club Hosting Legendary Tournament
August 18 – September 4

Wellington, Fla. (August 3, 2011) – The Royal Couple may have left, but excitement and enthusiasm for polo is only getting stronger at Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club as the prestigious USPA Bombardier Pacific Coast Open rolls into town August 18 through September 4.  Played since 1904, the tournament is one of the oldest and most competitive polo contests in the U.S. and around the world.

Some of the biggest names in sport will be on hand to compete for the coveted championship trophy including 10-goal rated polo phenom Adolfo Cambiaso, last season’s MVP, who will lead the Lucchese team in defending its title this year.  Aiming to knock them off the podium will be American standouts Nic Roldan and Jeff Hall who play for the Grants Farm team, along with a host of other outstanding teams and players this year.
