Indio, California – Last Saturday Empire Polo Club hosted their first USPA National Youth Tournament Series (NYTS) Qualifier! With this year’s National Championships taking place in San Diego over Labor Day Weekend, young players in the Pacific Coast Circuit are eagerly taking advantage of every opportunity to compete this year. This is the second tournament in the desert as the NYTS season opened at neighboring Eldorado Polo Club. Alexis Payan scooped up his second All-Star nomination, also added to the list of Zone 1 eligible All-Stars was Athena Malin, Xander Deutsch and Santiago Payan. Special thanks to Connie Atkinson, Isabella Wolf, Vicky Owens, the umpires and the All-Star committee for making this such a great tournament!
