USPA Professional Umpire and Team USPA mentor, Carlos Galindo, is leading an umpire clinic for local young players at Empire Polo Club. Carlos has been providing top notch umpire training to Team USPA members in Sheridan, WY for several years now so USPA Polo Development LLC decided to team up with Carlos and the USPA Umpires LLC to organize a clinic in the Pacific Coast Circuit! Thank you to Megan Judge, Vicky Owens and Empire Polo Club for making this possible.
The USPA Polo Development LLC’s Young Player Outreach (YPO) Program has provided opportunities like this to players across the country for the past three years but this is the first YPO Umpire Clinic in the desert. So far this week Carlos has kept the participants’ days full with on and off field umpire training, rules review sessions, lectures on bitting, green horse training and stick and ball sessions.
