Wild Bill excites people wherever he is and he plays exciting polo. Bill now has a very exciting partner as well. Her name is Katherine and Bill just asked her to marry him. I guess she said ok as she is a very brave lady, but she is a lady. So congratulations along with all this. Wild Bill who is Patron of Corelone Polo took Carnation Farm down town and gave em a a_ _ whipping to celebrate his engagement. Flying Ferg (Fergus Gould) was a scoring machine (9 out of 10 goals were put through the posts by him). Bill and Ferg joined up with the Palomino (Jason Crowder) and a brand new Young Gun by the name of Gabe Fernandez who went from 2 to the 8 like he was riding a bicycle but just going faster. He played outstanding throughout the game. He took a 3-goaler to lunch and opened holes for the guns. It was a big surprise, but that’s Wild Bill. He does surprise people and now he heads to the finals where another man in motion awaits him. He is not a wild man, but Mr. Organized. His name is Ed Pope and he is also like Wild Bill. He is new in polo years, but Ed is also headed the same way . . . forward. He brings to the table the Mexican Sec. of Defense Mr. Fernando Pilego. He also has Dandy Andy Maze who is also on a mission. It should be a good one at high noon on Sunday as they snuck by a family affair of G and L Ranch. They have two rookies Brianna and (Cacho) Daniel Galindo who have now entered the high-goal polo World (8-goal). In the low goal it was another newcomer Sir Rivkin and his Double Eagle squad stopping the Zipper and Rocket Robert Kiger with a few fireworks. Mr. Zhenya K. and Manny Rodriguez got thrown out in the 4th chukker for un natural polo swings. They take on the Northern California Lights of Noel and young Remy Mueller. So it could be a dandy as well and it happens at 1 p.m. with Zhenya back on the field I guess. Its great to see some new blood moving in such a positive direction. Wild Bill is setting the pace, but he needs rearview mirror as Pope and Rivkin are right behind him. They all better watch out for Gabe Fernandez because he is mowing down the grass ahead of Bill at a high rate of speed and he has youth on his side. So come on out. It ain’t Palermo, but hey they all started somewhere even Adolfo Cambiaso was playing in California at 14. He was only 4 goals.
