The Polo Report
By Steve Crowder

As we near the first of DEC. 2010 it is definitely time to have those horses ready to be walking if they are playing in January. Otherwise you are being mean to your animals. We have been trying to figure out what we really have for the Winter of 2011 and it sounds like it will be a much better year than 2009 and 2010 but is it?

EMPIRE POLO has re-opened their polo club and it will be a very clean and nice place to be for sure. They will stand out as a showplace, I have no doubt, and they have joined in with Twin Palms Polo Club for their combined 8- to10-goal league which should be very popular, as it will be best Polo in the desert. EL DORADO POLO will continue on as always and may have only 8- goal polo this year, but it should be very competitive. These are the two leagues that I am trying to put a face on and here are the teams I have been told … but I know Polo and talk comes easy, but the rest is always a guess until the League starts or the money is in. If these are incorrect just email me and say so. I am going on Polo gossip by supposedly informed people.

Team names are not for sure … I had to guess or I put a random name on them.  The Twin Palms Polo Teams may shift a bit, but they have two teams for January for sure.

There were some other teams that were floating around in the gossip circles, but not sure if they are playing or where.  If we missed any teams or if you have any of the missing players names, please let us know.  And if you know any 4-goal teams playing, let me know the line-ups and I’ll post those too.
