On a very nice day In September like today in the town of Summerland , Ca. We had the perfect day to raise money for a very good cause the Summerland School for young People. It had Stars and celebrity’s and Professionals and just good old fashion fun. Eat Drink and be Merry and spend your money for a good cause it was organized by a Polo personalty called Bilo Zariff and yes that is his name even though his Appaloosa was not seen today. We had Stars like Jeff Graham from San Francisco and the UK and Bolko and Conrad from Germany and the U.S. the Solemoni Brothers Lee Brecheen from Hollywood Scott Woods from Houston,Tx Pat Nesbitt from Beverly Hills also the Owner of the Bella Vista ranch and one very fun day @ Polo with a large group of People supporting the cause . Helping someone else the announcer knew not who was who and did not care and the crowd the same just fun to watch those Ponies run three teams three pros who could not score just hit the ball and watch and they did it well Ashton Wolf , Santi Von Wernich and Jason Crowder they just did what they needed to do make it flow and the end results was just piece and smiles for all and good food and wine provided by Summerland Vineyards and Bielo. This is one of the ways I think we can grow Polo for the public just put on the show People love animals like horses because of the power and speed and they love the sound of it the hoof beat and the laboring of the four legged as well as the grace of them and the players competing even if they know not what is happening. Many as today just think this is such a thrill and that is what it is all about and it is also for a good cause. Just try it and I believe it will help so much and the interest will grow. Next year lets start the Season with it and give everyone who comes a free ticket to the next game and a schedule as well as a contact where they can learn the game.
